Knowledge Management Practices Dissertation – Increased competition, reduced trade barriers, globalisation, fast communication channels and information technology are some of the reasons which make business organisations adapt to the changing circumstances at a very fast pace. More and more organisations are entering into the sectors which were once considered as hard to do business are becoming more and more competitive day by day.

There are a few conventions associated with the strategic management and operations of organisations which are still adhering to the business world. One such issue is the role and importance of human resource in the success of the organisations. Although there is available huge volume of research on the issues related to the human resource management which highlight the significance and instrumentality of human resource to the organisation, the concerns are still there about the strategic role of human resource in the success and sustainability of the organisations in the long term.

The researcher aims to investigate the role of human resource management in the sustainable development and success of the organisations.
