Tourism in Saudi Arabia Dissertation – The development in the industry of tourism is all about opening doors to the revenue and to the employment. Tourism has attracted heavy investment more so in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s main source of revenue is the oil and petroleum reserves. However, great efforts have been made to diversify the economy, to reduce the dependency on oil and the petroleum.

Saudi Arabia is committed to develop tourism as a part of the overall economic diversification. The Higher Authority has been given the task of overseeing a massive expansion in the Kingdom’s tourist facilities and the services. The Saudi Government is taking every possible step to attract the large number of foreign tourists and the intention behind the Saudi Arabia’s recent growth in the domestic tourism is attributed to the government’s efforts to encourage the local citizens to spend their money within their country rather than going out of the country to spend vacations, for leisure or for any other reason.

If a country starts working on this area of thought then no one can stop the bright future to enter every single house of the state. The development in tourism brings a number of investment projects and promotions, which not only strengthen the economical side of the country, but it also brings a lot of positive results to the political values. The petroleum and the oil reserves have been the strongest aspects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This paper aims to find out and diagnose the internal factors as well as the external factors that may affect the development in the tourism industry of Saudi Arabia. The main of this dissertation project:
