By selecting a sample of 20 contractors, the study gains a deeper understanding of how schedule delays and cost overruns are interconnected.

It also suggests techniques to manage activities and create effective plans to enhance labor performance. The research deploys reliability tests to determine if the findings can be trusted for use by researchers, scholars, and constructors. The study’s findings reveal several factors contributing to schedule delays, including external agency interference, labor strikes, limited resources, poor management, planning errors, and inadequate site management. The research highlights that various factors influence construction projects, varying from country to country and from one project to another.
