Impacts of Blockchain on Quality Management and Innovation Dissertation – It is challenging to understand the concept of blockchain in details. Firms have to understand the type of their business and the type of blockchain network and applications that would maximize their potentials in attempt of improving quality and innovation. Currently, UAE is host to many pilot projects using blockchain from the oil manufacturing sectors to transport sectors, utilizing the technology to protect their databases as well as automating transactions. In this case, there has not been full utilization of blockchain in the UAE.
As such, the rate of utilization of blockchain in the UAE is currently limited to pilot projects, which are also limited to the transport and oil manufacturing sectors. As such, the aim of the research will be to investigate the relationship of blockchain technology and quality management, performance as well as innovation and risks.
As a response to the above problem, this research aims at investigating the impacts that using blockchain technology will have in quality management as well as innovation. Particularly, the research aims at applying blockchain technology across different sectors of the economy, ranging from healthcare, financial sector to education sector.
