International Business Machines, commonly known as IBM is an American Multinational technology and consulting corporation. The company has its headquarters in Armonk, New York and deals in manufacturing and marketing of computer hardware, middleware and software. It also offers infrastructure, hosting and consulting services in areas ranging from nanotechnology to mainframe computers. IBM was incorporated in 1911 as Computing-Tabulating-Recording Co.
