Physiological and Psychological Stress Reliefs Dissertation – Stress can be defined as a feeling of being worried, overwhelmed, and run-down. Stress has been increasingly becoming common because of different factors. This study connected stressed recovery with the virtual reality unreal engines and environment of the games. The research focused on the comparison of real and virtual environments on the effective environmental appraisal.
Researchers concluded the actual reality is more dominating and have a significant environmental impact on the user. With the rapidly growing technology, virtual reality video games in the gaming market are getting high acceptance. In the gaming market, different games with unique characteristics are emerging based on user interaction and activities in the games.
The dissertation consists of five major chapters including introduction, literature review, methodology, results and discussion, and conclusion. The findings of this study can be used to guide future research on the impact of real-life stress and mental health. This study was able to show that participants’ levels of stress reporting increased significantly regardless of their social status. The result can be further expanded to explore the effect of additional visual content.
